Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
I do not believe that one approach fits everyone in mental health care. Each person comes with a unique life experience, and I believe treatment should reflect that. My role is to work collaboratively with each client to develop a plan that supports the best possible outcome and improves overall quality of life. When we work together in this way, people often rediscover strengths within themselves and begin to build a foundation for lasting success.
Even the most comprehensive treatment plan is ineffective if it does not reflect a client’s individual goals, preferences, and circumstances. My role is to listen carefully, present options, explain treatment approaches, and work alongside you to determine the path that feels right.
I treat a wide range of chemical dependencies, co-occurring disorders, and mental health conditions. I have more than a decade of experience treating opioid dependence with medications such as Suboxone and Subutex. I view addiction as a biological illness that requires empathy, dedication, and a multidisciplinary approach in order to support meaningful and lasting recovery.
If you are ready to begin care, please contact my office to schedule an intake appointment where we can explore your treatment options together. I currently offer online and phone sessions for both new and established patients.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, MSN, PMHNP
Mental health care should never rely on rigid formulas. Each person’s experiences, circumstances, and goals are unique, and treatment must reflect that. I work collaboratively with every patient to develop a plan that leads to the best possible outcome. To me, the patient is the boss in his or her treatment.
A major focus of my work is the destigmatization of mental health care. Seeking help for mental health should be viewed no differently than seeing your primary care provider for physical health. Both are essential to overall well-being.
I also believe it is important to remain open to new and emerging treatment options as research continues to evolve. When appropriate, I am willing to consider unconventional approaches if they offer meaningful potential to improve a patient’s quality of life.
I would also like to note that I am an ardent supporter of your Constitutional rights, particularly the First and Second Amendments. If you are ready for care, please contact my office to schedule an assessment where we will explore all of your treatment options.
Salutations! Anxiety and depression have impacted so many of us in profound ways. Navigating the path of our mental health can be as challenging as traversing stormy seas. It is during these moments, when we become overwhelmed by stressors and struggle to cope through complicated or difficult experiences, that extra support can make all the difference. My goal is to support you in your voyage through the unknown, to provide tools that help you pilot your own ship, and to empower you to become the captain of your own journey.
My aim is to learn about you, collaborate with you, and understand your goals and priorities. I provide comprehensive assessment, medication management, and ongoing support. When appropriate, I can also help connect you with therapists and other care providers so that together we can understand your “big picture” and ensure your needs are addressed in a holistic way.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with specialized experience diagnosing and treating ADHD and related behavioral health conditions across the lifespan, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. I take a compassionate, collaborative, client- and family-centered approach, and I am dedicated to helping young people thrive at home, in school, and in their relationships. I work closely with families and care teams to develop personalized treatment plans that may include behavioral strategies, therapy coordination, and medication management when appropriate.
I strive to provide high-level, high-quality care to individuals facing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, ADHD, insomnia, and other complex mental health challenges. Creating a supportive and approachable environment is important to me, and I want each person and family I work with to feel heard, understood, and empowered.
I earned my advanced nursing degree from the University of South Alabama and bring over a decade of experience in pediatric mental health, including both acute and outpatient care settings. I meet with clients virtually and serve individuals and families throughout Oregon and Washington.
Mental illness can shape the course of a person’s life in ways that are often invisible to others. It can affect relationships, family life, education, and one’s sense of direction or stability. Many people carry these burdens quietly, doing their best to navigate difficult experiences without clear guidance or support.
Meaningful mental health care is rarely about quick fixes. It requires careful attention, honest conversation, and a willingness to examine both the practical and personal dimensions of what someone is facing. My goal is to provide a steady and professional environment where people can speak openly, think clearly about their circumstances, and begin to develop solutions that support a more stable and fulfilling life.
My work begins with the belief that understanding a person’s experience requires patience, curiosity, and genuine collaboration. While my training and clinical background inform my approach, I do not presume to be the authority on your life. You bring your own knowledge of your experiences, your challenges, and what treatment feels like from the inside. I see my role as working alongside you to better understand those experiences and to help identify thoughtful and effective paths forward.
In addition to medication management, I often incorporate elements of psychotherapy into my work. I draw from approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, and existential therapy, with the aim of addressing not only symptoms, but the broader human experience in which those symptoms arise.
Are you struggling with your thoughts or mood? Having trouble with concentration, memory, or sleep? You are not alone, and I am here to help.
Life can feel especially difficult when you are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship stress, substance use concerns, chronic illness, or major life changes. These challenges can affect every part of life, and it can be exhausting trying to manage them on your own.
I work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, and I have a particular passion for supporting women experiencing mental health changes across the reproductive lifespan. Hormonal transitions, pregnancy, postpartum changes, and other life stages can deeply affect emotional well-being, and compassionate, informed support can make a meaningful difference.
I know that reaching out for help is not always easy. If you are here, you have already taken a brave first step. It is truly an honor to walk alongside you and support you on your healing journey.

Clinical Social Worker / Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with more than 25 years of experience working in behavioral health, substance use treatment, and social work education. Over the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical, leadership, and policy roles, which has given me a broad perspective on the many ways mental health and substance use challenges affect individuals, families, and communities.
My work has included serving as a Mental Health Clinical Manager in Tribal Health, Executive Director of a Regional Health Network, Director of County Behavioral Health, and Chair of the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers. I have also spent time teaching undergraduate social work courses and presenting at professional conferences on topics such as ethics, engaging high-risk youth, and approaches to substance use treatment.
In my clinical work, I focus on helping individuals navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, and recovery from substance use challenges. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in trauma-informed care and harm reduction. I integrate evidence-based practices such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients process difficult experiences, regulate emotions, and develop practical skills for everyday life.
I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, respected, and understood. My goal is to create a space where clients can explore their experiences openly, build resilience, and develop tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
